OK, last post was about the Apple TV. Now for those of you who know me, I love to visit Hackaday. In fact it is listed in my links over on the right of the page. Well they had this electronics hack that caught my attention. I love the idea and I may consider doing it seeing as I pirate some movies here and there.
The basic idea behind the hack is to take an old Divx player and attach it to a wifi router, preferably running dd-wrt, and hook it into your network so you can host up media files from it. Another added benefit to this setup is that you are able to update the Divx player without having to hook it into a PC. Check out the post on Hackaday for the full write up and links to the site with instructions.
